OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE OR RELATED DISORDERS IN THE ICD-11

Abstract. The diagnostic requirements in the grouping of obsessive-compulsive or related disorders in the ICD-11, the new categories in this section, the differences with ICD-10, as well as the rationale for the changes, are presented. The acquaintance with this grouping in the new classification – serving mainly didactic purpose – is accompanied by phenomenological analysis, differential diagnosis, comments, and hypotheses about possible consequences of the new diagnostic requirements for clinical practice.
